The Merger

I'm closing down my blog, really I just imported everything from this blog to one that my husband and I will share. Todd had his own blog much to my excitment, I love the fact that he's keeping some type of journaling, more men should, but didn't write much until I mentioned a joint blog.

The new address is toddanddani.blogspot.com

All of our old posts are there, plus some new ones and more to come.

P.S. I'm not a big fan of the back ground but Todd and I discovered we have very different taste when it comes to blog backgrounds, so I think our blog will have a monthly change, and I'm sure you'll know who pick which background as the months go by :)

me: hey Micheal Jackson died

Todd: how'd that happen?

Todd: drug od?

me: they can't release all details yet and still have to do an autopsy but he wasn't breathing when the paramedics showed up and died at the hospital well pronounced dead there

me: and Ferrah Fawcett died too

Todd: what!?

me: 62 years old

Todd: two white women, on the same day!

I thought this was HILARIOUS!

No don't get me wrong I completely agree with what was released on KSL,

Our TV is broken :(

Alright our t.v. doesn't look like this but it is broken. We can only turn it on with the remote and even then it brings up no screen and then turns itself off seconds later. Perfect timing! Nicholette is sick and now she can't watch Nemo. I tried Todd's computer but it brings up an error when I try to play the movie and normally I'd just call him but he started his new job today and I have to wait for him to call. I guess I'm thankful Hulu has the Veggie Tales Jonah Movie. Grumble.....

It is time

I've loved our trip but I'm looking forward to being home.

catch up time - worth the read ;)

Todd just got hired on with a company in Orem to do computer programing. He's very happy to be getting paid what he's worth and not having to deal with BYU's messed up CS department. (Long story). He starts at the end of June and will work full-time and go to school part-time year-round.

So "potty training", yeah. Well every time Nicholette is straining to fill her diaper with stinky-ness, he was lifting her up and carrying her to the bathroom which she must have found to be a scary experience because she'd cry and run to me. So needless to say I've discouraged that a bit and now we just talk to her as if prepping and telling her what to call the toilet. To be honest, I'll be the one home and teaching her. Lets not traumatize her.

I've been making felt food like a fool. I'll have pictures and a post for this when we get back home from vacation.

And our vacation trip will be another post.

I had an order on my Etsy shop! The only problem was I left the bag that had my shop merchandise in it on my desk back at home. Great, so I'm having them shipped to me, and till then I've sent some complementary bows as an apology for my brain-fart. I've since put my shop on vacation mode so that I dont get any more orders till I get home.

Nicholette got VERY sick the day we arrived at my parents. She woke up crying and as I pulled her from her crib she threw upon me. She did so about 5 times that morning and refused to eat and drink, which is nerve recking enough, but she was running a high temp. We set up an appointment with Urgent Care here, and were seen by a doctor my mom has worked with some. We got there and nicholette was running a 103.9 degree temp. She was soaking her clothes. Thwy drew blood and needed a urine sample. I can deal with blood being drawn but the catheter was breaking me. For her to be so miserable and then for the tests, I wanted to cry. She slepted well that night after her temp dropped to 100 degrees, and woke with major munchies. Thank heavens! I'm glad mom with me to Urgernt Care for the 4 hours we were there. And a special thanks to Todd and Mari who helped cleanup vomit that morning.

I hit my 12 week mark today, yeah for finishing the first trimester! Due December 11th, we're so EXCITED!!!

next week

I have tons to blog about and share but I can't just yet. I have errands to run and tomorrow looks like shopping with a SIL and the MIL. Saturday is family pictures and party day. Sunday I'm going to go see my grandfather and Monday is still up in the air. But here's a list of some of the things that I'll be sharing:

Todd's been trying to "potty train" Nicholette..... yeah not going so well, I wonder why....

My best friend is serving a month long mission for the LDS church on a Naval Ship! COOL!
I had this real nasty bug that made me..... well maybe I wont share that one with you... :)
